Our holiday flat was constructed in 1995 as an extension to our bungalow.  It has its own entrance and reserved car parking area and is only a few minutes walk from the shops, post office, garage, bank and other amenities in Broadford village. The flat comprises one twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers, and an adjacent tiled bathroom with shower.  The large sitting room has a double bed settee with sprung mattress, wood burning stove, and library of books, TV/video, radio/CD, occasional tables and additional seating.

The tiled kitchen is extremely well equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric oven, microwave, washer, tumble dryer and dishwasher. There is a dining table and chairs, and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The flat is centrally-heated, and there is no additional charge for electricity, bed-linen or towels.  The accommodation is spacious enough for two people and more than adequate for a family of four.  The location is very peaceful, with views out to the fields and hills; it is also quite accessible for the village. As we are in a sheep-farming area we cannot, unfortunately, allow pets in the flat.

Broadford is eight miles from the new Skye Bridge and a half hour drive from the large town of Portree.  There are several restaurants, craft shops, and visitor attractions around Broadford as well as the magnificent sea and mountain scenery. The tariff is £280 per week and the flat will be ready for occupation from 3pm on Saturdays, and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
