Take the road to Carbost and stay on the main road. This village is famous for its castle and grounds - it is the seat of Clan MacLeod - Armadale Castle is the MacDonald seat. There was always great rivalry in the not too distant past! The journey will take nearly 2 hours and is about 45 miles (60 km) but well worth the effort. If you have time, visit the famous coral beach and take a boat trip to see the seals.
