The Isle of Eigg is one of a triad of closely related islands; the other two are Rhum and Muck. It is populated by a small and thriving community and can be reached by ferry from Mallaig. The trip, including the ferry from Armadale, can easily be accomplished in a day. It a small island, ideal for walking and relaxing.
