This is a famous village in Ross-shire about 5 miles (7 Km) from Kyle. Its fame rests on its water front palm trees, its yachting fraternity and a TV series, ‘Hamish MacBeath’. This is truly an exotic place and we have spent many an hour wandering around its by-ways.

It is worth taking Calum's boat trip to see the seals and hear the repartee!

There are several high class hotels and a restaurant at the railway (there is still a regular rail service between Kyle and Inverness) station. All well- appointed.
