Take the road from Portree to Staffin, Floddigary (the hotel has excellent cuisine), Duntulm (stop to see the castle and views to the Outer Isles) and Kilmuir (the site of Dame Flora Macdonald’s grave and an excellent complex of period white houses). From Kilmuir return to Portree via Uig (the ferry terminal for the Outer Isles). The round trip will take at least 2 hours.
